Training Center Instructor (TCI)

Overview

Bob Escamilla was born in 1983 and hails from south Texas, when in 2008 he moved from his hometown of San Antonio and relocated to Prairieville, Louisiana.

Detective Staff Sergeant Escamilla began his career in law enforcement with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Gonzales, LA, in 2010. He was initially assigned to the corrections division, then the patrol division, and currently is assigned to the juvenile division since 2016. His specialty work has been in Child Advocacy Services (CASA) for the sheriff’s office. Bob is also an active military member in the United Coast Guard Reserve.

Bob eagerly started his aviation career in 2022. His current pilot certificates include: Commercial, Instrument, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) and Multi Engine pilot.

Training with Mickey, Bob recently completed the Cirrus Training Center Instructor course and is now a Cirrus Training Center Instructor (CTI) with Aviation Specialists Inc (ASI).
Bob has been married for 19yrs to the “love of his life” and has three children. When not flying airplanes, Bob is coaching soccer and active in his community sports program.
